Each vacuum-sealed bag contains approximately 30 to 35 whole vanilla beans, harvested in the heart of Madagascar and prized for their high oil content, rich cocoa notes, and deep floral aroma.

Grown by an organic planters association in the Maroantsetra and Mananara regions of eastern Madagascar, these vanilla pods are non-split, glossy, and pliable, and are hand-pollinated using age-old methods. After harvest, the beans are cured and refined over six months using traditional fermentation and drying techniques to ensure full development of their aroma and flavour.

Split the pods lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Infuse the seeds and pod in warm liquids such as cream, milk, or syrup. Use in custards, ice creams, ganache, pastry cream, and sauces, or steep pods in sugar or spirits to make vanilla sugar or extract.
